LASIK Financing

While LASIK can provide a solution to a very common medical problem, it is considered an elective procedure. This means that it is not usually covered by medical insurance. It does not mean, however, that LASIK is unaffordable.

By industry survey during the first quarter of 2010, average LASIK costs were about $2000 – $2200 per eye. This average price includes chains that make amazingly low price offers.

The good news is that we offer attractive monthly payment options that can make 20/20 vision or better as affordable as a few dollars a day – and without the ongoing costs of lenses. Cataract Financing

In cases where the cataract has reached sufficient thickness, most insurance companies see cataract and monofocal IOL surgery as medically necessary, so most insurance health plans and Medicare will cover these surgeries.

When patients decide to upgrade to a Lifestyle IOL, there may be an upgrade fee not covered by insurance. This does not mean, however, that Lifestyle IOL surgeries are unaffordable.
