Dr. Charles H. Davis, Owner and Surgeon
Dr. Charles H. Davis, owner of Davis Eye Center, is one of the area's foremost Board Certified Ophthalmologists specializing in laser vision correction and cataract surgery. Dr. Davis was not only the first surgeon in the area to perform no-stitch cataract surgery, but was also one of the first surgeons in the area to be certified with the implantable contact lens, accommodating intraocular lens and multifocal lens procedures.
Dr. Davis has performed over 35,000 LASIK procedures and over 30,000 other surgical procedures including PRK and Intraocular Lens-based procedures such as cataract surgery, Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), and Implantable Contact Lenses (ICLs). This extensive experience and excellent training allows him to offer his patients superior results.
Dr. Davis graduated Magna cum Laude from West Virginia University in 1978 and received his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1982. He completed his medical internship and ophthalmology residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Currently, Dr. Davis is an associate clinical professor at Ohio University. He is also a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgeons.
In 1987, Dr. Davis opened his practice in Cuyahoga Falls specializing in comprehensive eye care services. He opened the Davis Eye Center in 1997, where he is the Medical Director for both The Center for Surgery and Davis Eye Center Laser Suites.
Dr. Davis is a recipient of the elite VISX Star Award, recognizing him as one of the top 10% refractive surgeons in the nation. Honored for his achievements by the Best Doctors in America®, Dr. Davis has been recognized as being in the top 5% of all ophthalmologists in the region. He was also honored with a citation of recognition for outstanding service from Columbus and Stow.
Dr. Allison M. Siddall Landes, Surgeon
Dr. Allison M. Siddall Landes is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and LASIK, as well as aesthetic services such as eyelid surgery, Botox, and Juvederm treatments.
Dr. Landes grew up in Tallmadge, Ohio, received her BA in Biology at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, and received her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Loyola University Medical Center/Edward Hines VA in Maywood, Illinois.

dd F. Bischof, Optometrist
Dr. Todd F. Bischof is a native of Medina, Ohio. In 1981, Dr. Bischof enrolled at the University of Akron on a football scholarship, lettering his first two years. He gave up the final two years of eligibility to concentrate on his studies, earning his undergraduate degree and gaining early acceptance into Optometry school in 1984. In 1988, Dr. Bischof received his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. During his time in Chicago, he completed medical externships at the Chicago Institute of the Blind and the Great Lakes Naval Hospital. Dr. Bischof is an active member in the American and Ohio Optometric Societies and is certified and licensed by the International and Ohio Boards of Optometric Examiners in the treatment and management of ocular disease.
Following graduation, Dr. Bischof moved to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where he went into private practice with Dr. Thomas Shaheen. Their entrepreneurship, dedication and success was featured in a national optometric magazine. In 1997, Dr. Bischof and Dr. Shaheen joined their practice with Dr. Charles Davis forming the Davis Eye Center.
With this new facility the doctors specialize in comprehensive eye care while providing greater convenience and continuity of care to their patients.
In this day and age of managed care, Dr. Bischof strives to maintain a caring, friendly, family atmosphere. He enjoys and takes pride in taking the time to help and treat his patients appropriately with a sincere, caring attitude.
Being an avid exercise and sports enthusiast, Dr. Bischof enjoys playing basketball, jogging, weightlifting, boating and fishing. He also spends a tremendous amount of time coaching his kids in all levels of youth sports. If the family can find the time, in between all the practices and games, they spend a fall afternoon in Columbus, Ohio watching the Ohio State Buckeye football team. However, what he enjoys most is being at home in Cuyahoga Falls with his beautiful wife Annette and four incredible boys, Tyler, Nathan, Brandon and Garrett.

. Thomas M. Shaheen, Optometrist
Dr. Thomas M. Shaheen is a native of Canton. He attended the University of Akron until 1984, at which time he received early acceptance to the Illinois College of Optometry. He received his Doctor of Optometry in 1988. Dr. Shaheen was awarded the Kenneth Martin Award and was inducted into the Gold Key Society for leadership.
After graduation, Dr. Shaheen and Dr. Bischof entered private practice together in Cuyahoga Falls. They were recognized on multiple occasions in national optometric journals for their accomplishments in building their practice.
In 1997 the doctors moved their practice to the Davis Eye Center. They believed the concept of having all the eye care services at one site offers patients the greatest convenience and better continuity of care. The combined knowledge and skills of the doctors gives you the highest quality of care.
Dr. Thomas Shaheen strives to maintain a family atmosphere at the practice. He enjoys taking the time to help patients and continually update his skills and knowledge through continuing education programs. He specializes in helping hard-to-fit patients wear contact lenses, even when the patients have been told elsewhere that they cannot wear contacts.
Dr. Shaheen offers full eye health care and vision examinations including:
